17th of September will mark the Day for Darfur in which it wil symbolise a day of solidarity in standing for those in Darfur, Sudan who, despite a peace agreement being signed on 5 May 2006, have continued to be victims of displacement, murder, assault and rape solely due to their ethnicity.

The issue has been a constant concern for the international community but not enough has been done to end the injustice and plight of millions who have been victimised.
