Vienna, Austria (AHN) - Natascha Kampusch, the girl who was abducted and lived with her captor for years, appeared on television in Austria, and the media storm surrounding her captivity continues.

The public seems to be impressed with how "self-assured" Kampusch was after 8 years as a captive, while others question if it is too soon to know the affect the situation had on her.

Der Kurier writes, "A very strong and tough personality is hidden in this tender body," and asks readers "What impression did Natascha make on you?"

Austrian paper, the Heute daily says, "Natascha didn't speak like an 18-year old girl. Her words are carefully chosen, and she uses specialist medical terms."
The Wiener Zeitung writes she "looked better than many horror stories in the media had led us to believe" and calls her "assured and determined."

Yet, Der Standard asks, "Is she really as strong as she appears?"
According to the BBC, child psychiatrist Johann Zapotoczky writes that the interview came far too early and that she was clearly suffering from great emotional stress.
