Since 1948, Israel has taken an approach of hostility and aggression against Palestinians which has stripped them of a home, of dignity and of peace. Towns and villages have been destroyed, innocent people killed on the streets - even children, and the psychological scarring of generations to come.
As displayed over the past month, Israel battered and destroyed neighbouring Lebanon in which over a thousand Lebanese were killed and displaced almost a million more. The country has been left in rubble.
Israel has disobeyed international law repeatedly with no consequence s as they commit abuse after abuse on defenseless people. And who supports the suffering? Britain and the USA:
"In 2005 the UK government licensed the sale of £22.5m worth of arms to Israel, more than twice the amount in 2004, and spent millions of pounds on 'battle-tested' arms from Israeli companies. British equipment licensed by the UK Government for supply to Israel includes weapon control systems, ammunition, components for rockets and missiles, and key parts for Israel's Apache attack helicopters and F-16 fighter jets. These have been deployed against civilian populations in southern Lebanon and Gaza, as well as to maintain the illegal occupation of the Palestinian Territories."
