Shahla Jahed is awaiting imminent execution for the murder of her husband's first wife in 2002.
Despite confusion as to her 'testimony' of murder before the trial and then her plea of innocence throughout, as well as her statement of "Everyone knows the conditions under which I confessed", her sentence of death remains. There is also suspicion over her husband's involvement as he was detained for several months before being released.
