Bono, our all-time favorite celebrity do-gooder, is back:
This U2 / Green Day collaboration is in aid of Music Rising, a charity set up by The Edge to help musicians in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. It's a cover version of the 1978 song by Scottish punk band The Skids, written by Richard Jobson and Stuart Adamson. Though it lacks the rough-and-ready urgency of the original, Rick "Red Hot Chili" Rubin's lean and clean production makes sure of maximum impact.
