PATNA: Health minister Chandra Mohan Rai has said a sum of Rs 4.23 crore has been spent by national and international NGOs to check the spread of HIV/AIDS in the 2005-06.
Replying to a query raised by Dilip K Yadav during question hour in the state legislative council on Tuesday, Rai said HIV test centres have been set up at 85 primary health centres in nine most sensitive districts and 14 referral hospitals in Bihar. The people of the state have been imparted necessary training in 35 districts about HIV/AIDS.
