Registrations will be accepted on site for the 2007 Kentucky HIV/AIDS Conference, an annual event today through Friday to help raise awareness of the HIV/AIDS epidemic, according to a release from the state health and family services cabinet.
The Kentucky Department for Public Health (DPH) and Heartland CARES Inc., of Paducah, are co-hosting the event at the Radisson Plaza Hotel in Lexington. The conference is for health-care and social-service professionals involved in planning, providing prevention education or direct delivery of services to people living with HIV/AIDS.
