BEIRUT, Lebanon (CNN) -- Israeli aircraft Friday blasted main roadways north of Beirut for the first time in the three-week conflict, knocking out four key bridges.

Israeli police told CNN that two or three Hezbollah rockets landed in Hadera, the southernmost point the Islamic militia has reached with its attacks thus far in the conflict. No injuries were immediately reported, police said.

Overnight air strikes destroyed 3 bridges, blocking the final major route out of Beruit. Those that remained in the city now feel a sense of being trapped. The major roads in the north of Beirut were used by aid workers to bring humanitarian relief to the city. Those aid workers will now face additional difficulties delivering relief.
