Meanwhile Burma is on the edge of collapse, Paris Hilton, biggest (or most known) slut on this planet, is now jumping on the I-do-good-things train. Yes, Hilton who got paid, PAID, to appear on a charity event is now on her way to Rwanda. That’s the last straw. A bitch like her making pictures of a black child telling me how awful “hungry” they are. Fuck you!!! Fuck you! Fuck you all! Everyone who helps her, every PR agent and every so-called charity organisation. Fuck you!
I did hold myself back with the Brangelina bitches and their constant abuse of children-environment-PR-pimping because their fans on souliejolie.com have a decent project in the making.

But enough is enough.

Charity has become another word for HYPOCRISY

Clinton, the good old Lewinsky banger, keeps his charade going on with his Clinton-Global-We-Are Rich-Bitches Show, the only “hope” is Ted Turner, a multi-billionaire media mogul, who spends one billion on UN causes.

Speaking of his gift, Turner said, "this is not going to go for administration. This is only going to go for programs, programs like refugees, cleaning up land mines, peacekeeping, UNICEF for the children, for diseases, and we're going to have a committee that will work with a committee of the U.N. The money can only go to U.N. causes."

Well, not exactly King Kong but his smaller relatives, the Virunga Gorillas.

Already 9 gorillas have been killed since January because of unrest in the area. And cutting down the trees and taking the wood will place them under further pressure. Destroying their home, their habitat, their sources of food.

You can help to avoid a critical situation.

Joalby (Voyces United for UNHCR) contacted me and told me about The Sierra Leone REFUGEE ALL STARS documentary by Banker White and Zach Niles. You can find the trailer HERE

Here are the official words about this extraordinary documentary:

Evil Twin Booking Agency, Ninemillion.org, and Red Envelope Films are proud to present.

Sierra Leone's REFUGEE ALL STARS
(a documentary film by Banker White and Zach Niles)
www.refugeeallstars.org

The plight of the refugee in today’s war-torn world is captured in the African proverb, “When two elephants are fighting, the grass will suffer.” So it was in Sierra Leone from 1991-2002, where the government and various rebel factions carried out a brutal civil war in which the terrorizing of civilians — by killing, mutilation, rape, and forced conscription — was common practice on all sides. The war sent hundreds of thousands of ordinary Sierra Leoneans fleeing to refugee camps in the neighboring West African nation of the Republic of Guinea. That’s where the remarkable documentary Sierra Leone’s Refugee All Stars begins.

Sierra Leone’s Refugee All Stars are a band of six Sierra Leonean musicians who came together to form a band while living in a refugee camp in Guinea. Many of their family and friends were murdered in the war, leaving each of them with physical and emotional scars that may never heal. Despite the unimaginable horrors of civil war, they were saved and brought hope and happiness to their fellow refugees through their music.

Sierra Leone’s Refugee All Stars chronicles the band over three years, from Guinean refugee camps back to war-ravaged Sierra Leone, where they realize the dream of recording their first studio album. And so begins a musical phenomenon that is making the world hear the voices of West Africa’s refugees – through the film Sierra Leone’s Refugee All Stars have been able to launch an international musical career, while drawing the accolades of Keith Richards, Paul McCartney, Ice Cube (one of the executive producers of the film), and Joe Perry.

Through their unflinching spirit, their powerful stories of survival and their joyful music Sierra Leone’s Refugee All Stars celebrate the best that is in all of us. As violent conflicts multiply around the globe and the worldwide refugee crisis deepens, Sierra Leone’s Refugee All Stars is a humanizing ode to all the innocent survivors of war whose brutal realities are often dismissed by surface mass media sound bytes.

Here are some “old” news but still important to know:

- As you already know, the United Nations is sending up to 26,000 troops to Darfur. Why? Well, because Darfur has some major problems keeping peace and order. Read more about Darfur’s problem HERE

- South Asia is in need of food supplies and any help they can get. After a series of massive floods.

In South Asia, officials and aid groups are calling for urgent assistance to help nearly 30 million people facing hunger, homelessness and disease in the aftermath of massive floods. - Arcitc Tale is a new documentary about climate change and animals of the arctic. Treehugger.com talked with the filmmakers:

TH: So, what's the message? If it is a parable, there is a lesson. What is the lesson here?

Adam: In the movie, we see that as the climate begins to change, that both of these characters now have to face a warming world, and this is something that their parents had not faced in their lives. So they have to go beyond what their parents have taught them. They have to become bold and courageous, to find different ways to live in this warming world.

You can always find interesting artists on myspace.com (or the artists find you). One of them is Jamie Green. You can listen to some of her songs she wrote about the war in Iraq on her profile. (Available for free download)

In her own words:

One's an angry missive against the Bush Administration for their lies leading us into Iraq, and the complicit media and Congress that let these reptiles literally get away with murder. The chorus is from the perspective of an Iraqi civilian, inspired by a blog I read by an Iraqi doctor who commented that the only good thing the US brought to Iraq was cold storage for the corpses.

1 Voice 1 Action 1 Africa Campaign

As you may be well aware, there have been many, many anti poverty campaigns, for Africa, by various western organizations throughout our long history. However, none, so far, have addressed the issue of eliminating extreme poverty, by uniting Africa, to solve this plaguing problem, internally. Successfully eliminating extreme poverty, we believe, is an internal issue, not an external one and we are truly convinced that by uniting Africa, as one nation, working together, under the leadership of the African Union, the problem of extreme poverty will be finally resolved.

By supporting us, you are supporting the policies of the African Union, and with our united effort, Africans around the world, for the first time in history, will have their voices heard by the African Leadership, empowering them to move forward at a greater pace with the unification of Africa.
